US robot mower collection

Robot lawn mowers for 1/4-acre lawns

A quarter acre of grass is about 10,890 square feet. Start with the area you actually mow, not the lot size, then compare compact-yard models by navigation, passages, and published capacity.

What size robot lawn mower do I need? Acreage and capacity

How models qualify

US-listed autonomous or modular models with active or preorder status and published capacity from 0.25 to under 0.5 acres.

A 0.25-acre rating leaves little headroom on a full quarter acre of complex lawn. For many obstacles, separate zones, or a restricted mowing schedule, also consider the half-acre collection. Larger machines are not excluded from working on smaller lawns.
