US robot mower collection

4WD robot lawn mowers and models for steep slopes

For hills, compare traction and the published slope limit separately. This collection brings together explicitly identified AWD or 4WD models and mowers with a listed maximum slope of at least 50%.

Robot lawn mowers for hills and slopes: how to choose

How models qualify

US-listed autonomous or modular models with active or preorder status, an explicit AWD/4WD model or feature label, or a published maximum slope of at least 50%. Not every model here has four-wheel drive.

A 50% slope is not 50 degrees. Use the same measurement units as the manual, check the separate boundary-slope limit, and leave operating margin. A maximum rating does not establish safe performance on wet grass, side slopes, or near drop-offs.
